Better Pic and a Thank You

First I want to say thank you to everyone who comments here.  It makes me feel glittery and special.  I have learned so much from my blogger buddies (especially about stitching).  Joyze and Mouse, thank you for your support.  I totally didn't know food could trigger migraines.  What a bummer.  Chocolate and Cheese, oh my..... Those are two of my favorite foods.  Although, I have to admit, that I don't think cheese likes me as much as I like it (he he he).  We must have had a falling out in my twenties.
Well, I was able to get a better pic of my Anaconda.  A teeny weeny bit of progress last night, but my DS had a melt down and I had to put it up.  He has hit terrible two tantrum mode.  I am not sure how I am to survive.
This pic is soooooo much better.  I feel better too, because I can tell its in focus.  Talk about panicking.  I wasn't even concerned with not being able to see, just not being able to stitch.  Its the one thing that I am very sure will get me through my DS's current behavioral stage.  I can put him to bed, start a book on my iPod, and get away at night.
If all goes well, I should be able to get the things I wanted done last week-end, done this week-end.  Including a bit of cooking (mmmmmmmmm).  Happy Forth of July for those in the US.  I will be off for three days, so I will not post again until Tuesday the 5th.  I hope everyone has a happy and frog free week-end.

The stitching is looking good, the previous one looked blurred to me too but my eyes aren't that great either!
My 8 year old didn't do terrible two's, he was very articulate at that age but we did have the "argumentative threes" instead when he learned logic and pedantery!
The current two year old doesn't tantrum yet, he's very laidback and as long as there is food, drink and a cuddle he's happy!
The main thing to remember is to keep calm yourself. He can't help it, it's just he can't articulate what the problem is, he has all these new feelings he can't deal with so he gets overloaded.
Try pre-empt the tantrums once you start to recognise flashpoints. Also distraction works well with some kids.
And remember they do grow out of it - into a much worse phase the next age group! (Constant bum, poo and fart jokes anyone?)

I'm with you, Joy... I love those greens!!! They just be so fun to stitch. Maybe pace yourself with the chocolate and cheese? A bit here and there should be ok.... wine's a trigger too, as well as red meat for some people. :(

Happy 4th!! Have a fab weekend.

I can't wait to see this finished, it's looking great so far. But don't worry about the pace, it'll get done.

When my kids hit their teens (and that was sadly about 12 or so years ago!), I found myself wishing for the terrible 2's again!!!! Sometimes it's ok to just take it one day at a time no matter what stage our cute little off spring are in!
